About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.

Oh these beautiful tulips...

It is this time of the year when the tulips are in full bloom.. And... they are beautiful!

I love coming to the Botanic Garden and looking at flowers... but tulips are special... so delicate... so fragile...

Although all these blooms have just survived the snow (okay, not all of them, but many of them... the ones that were in a hurry and started blooming just before the snowfall last week).

There are several beds of tulips in the garden... some of them are tiered right on the edge of the pond...

Oh, beautiful colors... so vibrant and they made your heart beat faster.

A stunning bed of red and orange flowers... Love it!

It was a nice and sunny day and the tulips were basking in the sun. You can feel how much they enjoy being illuminated and warmed!

By this time I was tired of sitting low to the ground with my back bent, and when I stood up I discovered that if I look down I can see the tulip cup in all its glory...

Honestly, it was just impossible to stop walking around these tulip beds and looking at all these beautiful flowers... Red and orange... white and yellow... mixed colors and shapes...

The two hours in the garden flew by quickly... More people arrived, and it was time to finish and run to do some errands... So I took the last picture... and left... but... I'll be back!

The pictures were taken on April 12, 2025.
