Yep, now is the right time to get out and admire some Christmas
lights. And some neighborhoods are better than others :) A long time ago
we explored Denver in hopes of finding the most decorated houses and we
really enjoyed finding them. Click here if you want to see those - Sparkling glare of Christmas lights.
So... take a look at these (not so good) pictures, and if you like
them - go and see it yourself (if you live in Colorado). It is worth
every minute you spend there and you will never forget what you saw
there, I promise! ;)
There, everything was wrapped in lights... Trees and houses...
Garden sculptures and driveways... White and yellow, red-green-blue and
all other colors...It was like a magical world that we entered through
the gates and along which we traveled...
We stopped here and there, trying to catch as much of this bright
light as possible... but at some point we were overwhelmed and realized
that it was time to leave... So we did (definitely with some regret :)
).
Soon we were driving through the night, leaving all this beauty
behind, but we couldn't pass by Parker downtown without a quick stop to
see how Mainstreet was decorated :) But it was our last stop... We
turned around and continued on the half-empty highway towards Denver. It
was truly an unforgettable night and... I am afraid we plan to go there
again ;)
By the way, for those of you who live in Denver, here is our rough
route (all you have to do there is to follow the lights, and it doesn't
really matter if you follow this trail or not :) ).
The pictures were taken on December 15, 2024.
