About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

First signs...

Actually not the first. Fall is coming and we've known it for a while now. The leaves have started turning yellow (or red), the nights have gotten colder... And it's been happening for a couple of weeks. But... this is the first time I've tried to capture these beautiful colors so... I guess you can say these are the first signs of fall...

I don't know why, but even the flowers look different... blooming as usual, but at the same time, it only takes one glance to feel... fall is coming (and coming fast).

And some flowers (like this gladiolus) are not even here before September. But once they throw out the blooms, it's impossible to pass by without admiring these simple, yet beautiful flowers.

I like this time, when the leaves are still reluctant and kinda not sure whether they need to change or can stay green. It's a short time... but it's simply amazing... The leaves are changing, but there is still some (or a lot) of green color which slowly disappears...

I like this lacy birch... and it is still mostly green... but some of the branches turned yellow so the tree looks really nice. But I think it's going to change soon and it'll be completely yellow next week. I'll probably need to check it out...

What a wonderful time... when everything is changing and the fall colors are becoming more and more pronounced with each passing day... I think it's a great time to head to the mountains and watch the aspen trees coloring the slopes and creating this sad feeling of the season changing from hot and sweltering summer to cold and dreary winter...

The pictures were taken on September 28-29, 2024.
