What is the most colorful time of the year, I would like to ask...
And I think the answers will vary. Some will say that it is spring, when
flowers bloom and bring different colors into the world. But some will
say that it is fall, when bright hues of yellow and red dominate and
overpower all other colors...
I think there is no point in arguing and both times are good in
their own way. But it's April now... so we are seeing spring colors
everywhere, right? Let's step back in time and enjoy some fall colors
too, shall we?
Kenosha Pass is one of the best locations to enjoy the Colorado
colors (even though lately it has become way too crowded and not as a
pleasant destination as it used to be). And the colors are bright one
year, and fade the next...
We went there in 2015 and I believe it was one of the best years
when the Colorado aspens turned yellow and brought such vibrant colors
into the world...
As far as I remember, the next year was not as spectacular, but
2015 was. And we spent half a day hiking along a short stretch of
Colorado Trail and admiring the magical views around...
The pictures were taken on September 27, 2015.
