About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

Yellow, red, green and blue - it's autumn!
As the demands of a bustling week gradually fade, there emerges an
undeniable need for respite, a moment to distance oneself from the urban
clamor. And what better time than October, where the transition from
summer's verdant green to autumn's gilded embrace beckons us into
nature's soothing arms.
Colorado, our fortunate abode, grants us the escape we crave — just an hour's drive to where the city's rhythms yield to the quiet rustle of
aspen leaves. Steep slopes cradle aspen groves, creating picturesque
patches on nature's vast green carpet. The romance of autumn unfolds,
painting the landscape in hues of gold and amber.
Amidst this enchanting spectacle, snow-kissed peaks reveal themselves at
elevations surpassing 12,000 feet, announcing the imminent arrival of
winter. The ragged mountain summits, once defiant in their ruggedness,
soften under a pristine blanket, whispering secrets of colder days to
come.
Descending to lower elevations unveils a captivating patchwork — a quilt of patterns with golden aspen leaves strewn between evergreens. This brief interlude, when colors burst forth in richness and brilliance, gifts us stunning vistas that linger in memory.
In select places, nature graces us not only with the customary yellows
but also with the fiery reds of autumn. The quest for fall colors
becomes a delightful pursuit, an adventure that calms the mind and
rejuvenates the spirit, like a balm for the soul.
As you venture into this kaleidoscope of autumnal hues, another vibrant
surprise awaits — the azure plumage of blue mountain birds. Observing
these winged wonders becomes a lesson in intimacy with nature, a
colorful interlude that adds a playful rhythm to the mountain's romantic
narrative.
A mere couple of hours spent in this mountain sanctuary provides a
sanctuary for the soul — a retreat where the burdens of work and the
weariness of long hours dissipate. Even as you gaze upon the captured
images, a profound calmness descends, a gentle reminder that beyond the
demands of work and everyday chores lies a realm of perpetual beauty,
ever-changing yet enduring.
Winter may be on the horizon, but the memories of these moments linger
as a testament to the ephemeral yet enduring romance of autumn in the
Colorado mountains — a timeless embrace that transcends the fleeting
demands of the everyday, beckoning us to find solace in the
ever-changing, ever-disappearing beauty that surrounds us.
