About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

Gold in Golden...

In the quiet embrace of this morning, I found myself reluctant to leave the warmth of my bed. Winter's chill lingered in the air, and the world outside seemed unwelcoming, adorned in faded hues. Even the reluctant sun, making a subtle appearance, couldn't quite lift the somber atmosphere. In that moment, a yearning stirred within me for a return to a truly golden fall — a season of warmth and joy.

So... I activated my personal time machine, transporting myself to late October of years past. In this alternate reality, while snow had already cloaked some cities, but Denver basked in the lingering glow of Indian summer. Despite the brisk winds that had disrobed many trees, the city maintained its resplendent golden-crimson allure.

Yet, the allure wasn't confined to Denver alone. Nestled at the foot of the mountains, the small town of Golden unfolded along the river, its every nook and cranny adorned with the golden tapestry of fallen leaves. It almost felt as if the town owed its name not just to the wealth hidden in its stream but equally to the golden foliage that densely lined the riverbanks.

On that particular day, the journey led to this small town, where a stroll along Clear Creek awaited. This seemingly gentle waterway, with its deceptive calmness, possesses the potential to transform into a torrential force capable of reshaping everything in its path. However, on this day, it played the serene companion to our footsteps.

As we ambled along the creek's shore, the sun cast its enchanting spell, dancing on the water's surface and illuminating the leaves that clung to the trees lining the banks. Each leaf, a stroke of gold, seemed to hold the essence of fall within its delicate form.

In the midst of this riverside serenity, we traversed the path together, witnessing the play of light and shadow on the water's edge. The sun, a silent artist, painted the landscape in hues of gold, creating a tranquil symphony that resonated with the rhythmic flow of Clear Creek.

So, hand in hand, let us wander along the water's edge, captivated by the reflections of a sun-kissed world. Here, in the heart of Golden, where the name resonates not just in the stream but in the leaves that gracefully carpet its banks, we find solace in the enduring beauty of a golden evening.

Let's say thanks to ChatGPT for transforming the simple verbiage to nice story ;)
