About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

Yellow and green... mostly ;)

Flowers come in a variety of colors. But sometimes it's interesting to focus on only a few of them. What about yellow and green?

But what is a rule if there are no exceptions? It's boring, so... let's add something else. What about this purple-ish Butterfly bush? Why? Just because it's so bright and attentive ;)

Oops... but... technically white is not a color so no exceptions needed :)

And if we let the Butterfly bush be part of today's story, how can we refuse Russian Sage? Moreover, it has not yet fully bloomed and is still mostly green.

And...it is not a pineapple, it's just a pinecone.... but I agree, it looks very much like a small pineapple (I'll be honest with you, I almost tried to bite into it).

Oh those Prickly Poppies... Papery and beautiful. And highly attractive to bees.

Sunflowers look much more interesting while they are opening up.

Prickly lettuce is ready to spread the seeds ;)

Morning glory looks good even at noon. No need to get up early to admire these flowers.

I hope you don't mind that I let this red bug crash at our party. But the leaf it sits on is green with a yellow-ish edge ;)

And now just look at this Puncture vine. Small attractive flowers, tiny leaves...

The leaves and branches are hairy and everything is really tiny...

Except thorns ;) They are huge, sharp and really dangerous. Don't walk barefoot on the plant and never ride your bike over it. It's capable of puncturing a hole or two in your tire with the ease of a hot knife coming through the butter!

Pictures were taken on July 04, 2020.
