Okay, okay... not all of them were angry, but some were! But, let's start from the beginning... In the beginning it was a sunny, but hazy morning and the sky wasn't blue at all... But the bird's silhouettes looked very beautiful against slightly pink-ish background ;)
And I won't stay in one place today, but I will jump back and forth
between City Park a day before and Cherry Creek Park a day later...
Hazy and smoky sky was replaced with nice and blue sky and even more
than a week after the flooding the water in Cherry Creek Reservoir
was
still a good 5 feet above normal (improvement over 10 feet a week ago,
huh?)... But we enjoyed a nice reflection in the water that covered a
good half of the parking lot ;)
The bald eagle flew over my head so silently that I almost missed this magnificent bird...
And now we are getting closer to some angry birds, although this one didn't show any temper.
A couple of pelicans moved slowly in the middle of the lake. They looked just gorgeous!
The red-winged blackbird walked cautiously over the wet grass, looking for something to bite.
Calling for a mate (this is not an angry bird... yet...)...
Soaring during a morning hunt...
And now the angry blackbird ;) It was really angry about something...
Have no idea what upset this blackbird so badly, but it loudly announced it to the whole world ;)
