About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

Yes, I said one, right, to Mars! Part 2

To look on how our journey started click here - Can I have a ticket to Mars, please? Part 1

As I said before, it doesn't matter where you are going, everything looks different there. And when we climbed down the valley just a hundred yards from the place we started we found out it looked completely different... I mean we were staying on the bottom of the canyon but the surrounding area just wasn't the same... The colors were different, the shapes, the hoodoos... Everything was just a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Soon we exited the canyon and were walking between the hills. And again, all the elements looked familiar but the final combination was different again ;)

We stopped dead before reaching this hill... Can you see the angry face on the right? No???

Look here, what about now, can you see it? Why is it angry? Did we do something wrong? Have no idea but we didn't want to take any chances so we made a wide arc to avoid the gaze it gave us...

Please, don't call me superstitious... But in this place you become one really quickly. You can easily understand why ancient people considered this place sacred and preferred not to wander here unless they really needed it or wanted to ask something from the gods...

Mushroom and sharp fins... What else does your imagination bring up? Remember... don't restrict yourself and try to see the most fantastic images in these rocks ;)

What can you see here? Noses? Cap peaks? Hallucinogenic mushrooms? Faces? Eyes? Feel free to free your imagination and... go wild!

The sun was rolling down the horizon and the light became dim(er) and soft(er)... but the shadows sharper and longer...

We walked a bit more and stopped thinking... We were sure we were on some remote and humanless planet before this moment (except the moments when we were sure we were back on Earth). But next we found this statue... Don't believe me? Look for yourself. Can you see two Martians? Waving their hand, greeting you and shouting: "Hello! Come in here! We are so glad to see ya!" And we were delighted the people who lived here millions of years ago were so friendly ;)

Fish scales? Should be a really BIG fish ;)

I don't know about you, but I always see some ships leaving the harbor when I look at this picture...
