About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

The Fall time is coming...

It's just unbelievable... The weather is crazy (hard to believe it is September). The day temperature stays high and it feels like it's still Summer. The bees are still working hard on gathering some honey, isn't it nice?

But, don't be fooled by hot days, it is September and some fruits are already ripe and ready to be picked up, like these cherries! They are really sweet, by the way ;)

And the leaves are turning brown at the edges, so the maples and alders are already ready to drop them for Winter.

Do you like apples? Come and have some ;) We have a lot of them around there, ripen and bending the branches. Fall is coming!

But wild sunflowers don't believe the season is changing, they are still blooming and attract a lot of the insects.

...and it looks like the petals are very tasty, it took just a couple of seconds for this bug to do some damage to the flower.

The squirrels mostly gathered the majority of the acorns, but some of them still can be found on the oaks and they are huge! Shiny and looks really attractive. I was thinking about getting a couple for myself (not sure I have good enough teeth to crunch them though).

Prickly poppies are still there (don't remember if I ever saw them blooming in September) and... gorgeous as usual :)

Some fields still look more like Summer meadows but I have no complaints about that... I can find some photogenic flowers or, better, some bugs to capture ;)

Pictures were taken on September 05, 2022.
