About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.

Sunrise...

I guess we all like to watch the sunrise... If we can wake up early enough ;) The picture of the sun slowly rising up is magic and mesmerizing The most important thing is choosing the right morning to enjoy this moment, right? So I looked at the forecast and when I saw they predicted a foggy morning I decided this would be a perfect opportunity for me... So I drove to the foothills and at 6:30AM was walking up to the Dinosaur ridge to meet the sun...

Honestly... the forecast wasn't that accurate, the morning was foggy, but not as foggy as I expected ;) Never mind, the sunrise is still the time when the colors are just amazing. Like this view to the Red Rocks Amphitheater, when the sun was so low and the colors were unbelievably pink-ish and absolutely unreal...

Once I climbed to the summit, I was able to see the sun slowly rising above the cloud level and also flooding everything with the colors you can see only in the early morning and not for long. Usually you have something between 10 and 20 minutes before the sun is high enough and the colors turn to the normal...

So I invite you to climb with me on the ridge and walk along the edge looking to the East and to the West to see the different views and... different colors ;)
