We rarely look down and register the small objects that surround us. But once you look at ones that usually don't really attract our attention you can find some fascinating details. Let's do it today, should we? Let's go to the woods and collect some... mushroom pictures (or, I'd like to call them mushroom's portraits).
Correct, today we won't really remove any mushrooms from the woods, but only take some pictures and look at them really close...
And, don't ask me if you can eat these mushrooms. I have no idea. That's like an old joke:
Professor during final exam:
- Tell me, please, if all mushrooms are edible?
Student confidently:
- Yes, Professor! But some of them only once ;)
So, I wouldn't advise anyone to collect these mushrooms and eat them. I would strongly discourage doing that, because I suspect many of them are poisoned...
But, poisoned or not, they are just beautiful and come with
different colors and shapes. Look at this one... Not very mushroomy,
huh?
Some colors also make me feel nervous... Like these
yellow-green-brown-ish. This color doesn't represent something I
can put into my mouth... But... who knows, maybe these are just perfect to
taste... once ;)
I am pretty sure this one is not good for your lunch ;)
The woods are thick in the mountains and not really easy to walk
through. So make sure you wear the proper clothes and most important -
good footwear!
These small white mushrooms look just amazing on the dark green and black background.
These
Russula are edible. Good to be fried fresh and mixed with some
potatoes... They don't last long in the woods, and are mostly neglected
when better mushrooms are available. But when nothing else can be found
in the forest, don't walk by, collect them and you have a decent dinner.
If you find this one - TAKE it home. It is delicious!
Is this mushroom or a drinking bowl? I wouldn't drink from it, but I
guess some animals really appreciate this water collected in the
mushroom cap after heavy rain...
Sweethearts, aren't they?
This one found a place in my bag and was prepared
for my dinner... Even if I didn't have any intention to collect them,
I don't have enough willpower to leave this beauty in the woods ;)
