Yesterday we walked along the Strip. Actually... we didn't walk... we ran and very fast :) Let's start our second day in Las Vegas and walk again... but just slowly... With some attention to the details... And let's start from Piazza San Marco in front of Venetian hotel where we were staying during our trip.
And now let's go... Let's pass eclectic Harrah's casino (so bright and fancy looking) and look... across the street ;)
Believe it or not, but this is just a shopping mall. Rome shopping mall, huh?
Oh no, this is definitely not Rome. There was no way to build any of these palaces two thousand years ago. Those are definitely from our days.
Las Vegas is the magic place, where you can find everything. Different architectural styles, mix of reality and dreams and... even wizards are not unusual here. They just sit in the air and beg for some change ;)
Bellagio dancing fountains are famous and it's just impossible not to stop by and wait for such an entertainment.
Yeah, they are amazing, but... pictures are unable to bring the real impression. Even the video couldn't but... let's give it a chance!
Looking at dancing fountains we walked around the lake and enjoyed the view at Paris (I am sorry, don't take me wrong, not Paris, France, but Paris, Strip, Las Vegas... just a casino ;) ).
Bellagio is one of the most lavish places in Vegas and worth stepping in and looking at. Interesting... we expected everything but not a Chinese poster above the entry door.
Oh, it was the Chinese new year coming and Bellagio was decorated with traditional Chinese art. But before we look at it, let's look up - at the ceiling. Right! It was Chihuly glass! Magnificent!
And... art of flowers... or flower art... Don't know how to name this, but... it was something, I should say!
Imagine - these figures are made from flowers! And the chickens too ;)
And the picture...
We made a circle, spent some time admiring the flower art and decided to leave, through the shopping mall, where you can buy the finest things ever. Provided by most famous brands from all over the world.
Let's stop here and take some breath. We definitely want to walk further, but, probably, after lunch ;)
Pictures were taken on January 21-23, 2017.
