It's February and everything looks dried and lifeless. It is not exactly true, but the impression is quite strong. But it is also interesting to look at these dried things and make them alive again, probably only in your mind, but still...
Looking from this angle all I can think about is a shooting star. That flew all the way from the skies and found a peace decorating this amazing (but quite prickly) flower ;)
Is this tree laughing on me or I am only imagining it? Anyway, I checked if my hair was in order to be sure I am not making a fool of myself...
Cutleaf teasel is highly decorative late summer and still makes me stop near the plant and look at it in Winter...
Always liked exploring the layers on the planks used for fences. They are naked and exposed to the sun and wind and eventually become a cool abstract picture...
It was a bit challenging to find these fluffy spirals between the leaves in the Summer. Bun now they are more visible, but same attractive and cool-looking, aren't they?
Sometimes I think the tree has an eye on me...
This one definitely has... I am glad it is sleepy and doesn't really look at me...
Ohps... it is awake and suspiciously watching me passing by... I guess I'd better move out of this... hopefully it falls asleep again and closes its eye...
Did you try to look into Yucca's seed pods? Never? Me too, actually. So let's change it and peek into it and... tell me what your imagination helps you to find there ;)
Trees are amazing. The bark can be so geometrical and abstract at the same time. It's always a pleasure to stop and wonder, how that happens...
But... what can be more beautiful than dried leaf resting on the juniper bush? Probably just a nice looking leaf ;)
Pictures were taken on February 20, 2021.
