About this blog:
We love traveling. We always capture tons of pictures from wherever we've been and we like sharing our traveling experiences with our friends. So, this is how this blog began - as short stories with pictures in an attempt to share where we've been and what we've seen. Even not stories , but just notes. Nothing serious and big. Mostly I'm writing these stories on a rush and sometimes even don't have time to re-read them. So, I apologize in advance for possible typos here and there. There can be some factual errors or inaccuracies and they even might be corrected one day. Don't hesitate to contact me if you find something that needs to be fixed and don't expect these notes to be a perfect novels ;) The stories in this blog are not in chronological order, but I will try to remember to put the date of the trip. So... welcome to this blog and, hopefully, you will find something interesting and have the same feeling we had when we were there. Let's go...
And... by the way... all pictures and texts in this blog are protected by International and USA Copyright laws, so if you'd like to repost or use something on your page - contact me first.
Using anything published here without permission is violation of the law and... it isn't really nice...

Brek at night

We like Breckenridge. Nice place to come in Summer, or Winter, or Spring, or Fall ;) It is nice to come here in the morning or afternoon. And it is definitely a good place to walk around at night in the Winter...

So we had a chance to walk along the streets before dusk and it looked quite nice... at least the snow still was white ;)

Later, after we spent some time looking at snow sculptures we were walking back to the Main Street and found the snow turned blue. The sky became dark and deep and everything looked just different...

And... the trees... they were decorated with thousands of small bulbs and looked like a sky filled with stars...

First we stopped at the visitor center and enjoyed some historical stuff. Like this frame filled with horseshoes :)

Learned about the gold rush in the area.

...and about different kinds of gold - from dust to nuggets.

But it was too late and the visitor center was closing, so we just walked along the Main Street and looked around, peeked to the lightened windows and... just enjoyed being here in an unusual hour.

It was quite late and we were a bit hungry. So we decided to have dinner in Brek and the best place for it is Crepes ala Cart, the street eatery always busy serving the guests...

We even had an opportunity watching a show named "baking the crepes you ordered" ;)

And... it didn't take long to have the freshly baked crepes before driving back to Denver...

Wanna see how it looked like to drive there at night? Watch this:

Pictures were taken on January 25, 2020.
